I became an Executive Director of a skilled nursing facility before I turned 30. I grew three facilities from half-empty to full. So I know what it feels like when a building starts working again and the staff stop updating their resumes. I led through mergers where two cultures of care had to become one overnight. Now I run operations inside a teleneurology company where AI connects stroke patients with neurologists in 45 seconds. So the ER nurse in a rural hospital who used to wait 40 minutes for a phone consult can get a treatment decision before the window closes. I write about what this work actually looks like.
